![]() Based out of the North American time zones, No.401 is looking for fresh pilots to join the ranks and take the fight to the hun! We primarily fly the Hurricane with the Rotol constant speed prop. If you're located in North America, fly for the Red side, and are tired of joining a server after dinner during the week and having no squadron mates to fly with, come fly with us! No.401 flies with No.501 and No.64 squadrons when on group operations. If you're looking for a UK/European time zone squadron, No.501 and No.64 are your ticket! All three squadrons get together on Sundays to fly on our server at 3:00pm EST. No.501, No.64, and No.401 share a large capacity teamspeak server for communication (Connection info upon request). Our server, Air Combat Group, runs historically accurate AI sorties that show the date and time of actual combat missions flown during the Battle of Britain, beginning with August 12, 1940. The server is capable of handling larger formation ai raids. Not uncommon to see 10+. No.401 Squadron offers its pilots the opportunity to participate in squadron flight logs, tally boards, promotions and medals, assigned aircraft lists, repair and resupply system, all designed to enhance the simulation and immersion of flying for a real squadron during the war. Participation in the extra aspects is not required, but it's a lot of fun if you're keen on detail! If you're interested in joining, send me or Osprey (from No.501) a PM here at the forums. Come by and check out the No.401 forum at the link in my signature! And if you'd like to come fly with us and see if you're interested, join the Air Combat Group server on Sunday afternoon/evening! We'll see you there!
