Default Direct download or torrent

It was posted by one of the RAAF boys that he downloaded by torrent & has had no system crashes.

Do we know or can we tell if corrupted patches are coming from direct downloads or from torrents, ie how many people have stable 4.11 installs & how did they get them, torrent or direct?

just a thought................................

You can have corrupted (incomplete) patch files with every download type. This depends on various reasons and cannot be forseen. Generally all provided locations and mirrors are ok. And for most issues, a redownload cures the problem.

I was just wondering if the download type was causing the errors, because this issue did not raise its head during the testing

If you are talking about CTD, it's a bug, not a corrupt download.
