Default Artifacts

Just a quick question guys. Does anyone know why I'm getting artifacts over land.
Simply put, I've never had any issue like this ever.
I cant figure out for the life of me what to do to fix this or even reduce the occurrence of it.

Here are some resized images of what I'm seeing

Its making the game completely unplayable. I'm a huge long time fan of the IL2 series and for me this has been the best version yet. But the next day I played, all these artifacts showed there ugly faces

My Rig is
i5 750 stock. Intel-TB to 3.2
4gb DDR3 @ 1333 Ripjaw 12800
Gigabyte HD 6870 1gb GDDR5 Factory OC.
Gigabyte H55M-S2H. Rev 1... Bit of a low end board, but never let me down.
3 HDD's 160 - 320 - & 1TB all 7200's C:/ is 320 and D:/ is the 1TB where games install. 160 is backup.

Running all the latest Drivers for board except for GPU. Have tried the laterst AMD driver but still had same issue. So I went back down to my original driver version, as its more stable and produces more FPS. Well, for me it does anyway. its v 11.8

Running the game on a mixture of high and low at the moment. as It does reduce the occurrence of these artifacts, but not alot anymore.
Each day that passes, They seem to get worse.

Any Help would be massively appreciated.
Thx

hmm, maybe your overclocked GPU is faulty...
Set it down to normal and clear the dust out of it, could help.

That def looks like overheating issues to me..

Try it with stock speeds and give yer fins a clean on the board, also have you disabled the UBI splash screen?

Temps are not an issue, According to CCC, But lowering the GPU clocks on the core helped, the only artifact I had was on the rotor blades, They seem to have small squares inside of them as if they were poking out you know.

Lowered the factory clocks from 915 & 1050 to 900 & 1000. seemed to help alot.

But then I crashed into the back of a HE 111 lol
Dont ask. I Dived at him and he pulled up as I was like 100ft away from him about to pull up myself. Double trouble ay hehe.

But yeah, I've cleaned off the dust. I've lowered the clocks, and it seemed to help alot, the game is playable. Now that I can see what I'm doing

Thx guys, I appreciate this alot. I do know that my 6870 does not work on youtube and other flash video players with Hardware Acceleration turned on. I get blocky artifacts all over the screen.
Turning H.A. off fixed this, but never had it happen in a game.
Those blocks do happen when Cod Is on the loading screens also. So maybe the loading screens use some kind of H.A.

Think I might get HWMonitor to run during a game just to see if my temps stay at a normal rate. or if they jump from high to ultra high
They seemed fine during game, but it would not hurt to try more software, just incase the other gives a false reading.

Anyway, Thx guys, I appreciate the help.

Silly Factory OC.

Might have to zoom in with this image, its a bit small. Imageshack didn't keep its original ratio.
