No sound in any King's Bounty game

I have windows xp 32 bit and just bought the plat edition on steam. I use a logitech usb headset and the sound works fine for videos, games, everything else except King's Bounty. There is no sound at all unless I plug my speakers in, which are usb as well. Any help?
