Default Logitech G940 frequently asked questions - FAQ

Hi everyone

I've had this game for a while but I cannot really get started on it because I'm having some difficulty with my G940 joystick.

I apologise if this has been asked many times but I have tried searching the forum for other threads but have not found any that really match my particular problem.

When I start a flight it feels fine and I can move the joystick about normally and feel the force feedback when I bank or fire the guns etc...

Then after a period of time (either seconds or minutes) the joystick will go solid and I cannot move it except by putting a great deal of pressure on it. It's almost like the deadman's grip is working in reverse. If I move my hand from the sensor, I can use the stick, but as soon as my hand covers the sensor again, it goes rock solid.

Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can do about it. It really is preventing me from flying, and that's a shame as the sim looks great and I really want to get it working.

I use this joystick in Rise of Flight and FSX and it works without any problems in those two sims.

I would be very grateful for any assistance any of you might be able to give.

Cheers
Stu.
