I'm not sure you were suggesting a trip down memory lane so sorry if this is off-topic.

This game/sim? was a real gem, fantastic graphics, sound and atmosphere.

My first flight sim was on a DEC Micro in around 1985, it was only text, no graphics but I spent hours trying to fly the Atlantic in it I was avoiding working at the time though but it shows it's all about expectation.

What a blast !

Still have a vivid memory of some actions time in EF2000 / F4 / Janes (helos/Jets & warbirds) or EAW

One of my earliest PC favourite was Microprose 1942 (the ancester of EAW).

Regarding EAW, the BoB campaign was a must that shld inspire any mission makers here. I still remember scrambling after some 111 straying at 3K over London as a wingman struggling on my ctrls to keep my place in a densely packed (multiple vics) formation.

And for the records I did fly the spit at that time

I hope as much fun to all new comer in Sims !

I loved EF2000 and 1942 Pacific Air war.

This virtual Russian Knight aerobatic video goes back a few years, but it was about the first that started a lot of virtual aerobatic teams start up.

Great music too.

I used to love EF2000, it was one of the first that I remember being capable of running decent terrain, used to love dropping down low and screaming through valleys and fijords! Remember running it on my old compac Pentium 200, my first windows machine in about 95, what an amazing new world! Seemed to be an amazing new sim coming out every other week!
