Signed.. and with pleasure. There are so few of these historical sites left, it would be a shame to see it end up as just another 'development' in the name of progress!

Jason, Bottisham Airfield Museum Chairman has asked me to post this.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported our campaign to save this historic site at Bottisham. We are exploring every avenue available to us and have been in touch with the Airfield Conservation Trust and the Airfield Information Exchange, both of whom have pledged their support. At the moment the landowner is in talks with a number of developers and until these talks are further along it is difficult to know what sort of planning application we will be facing. The Bottisham Airfield Museum Group will do our level best to save the site but in the event we do lose it then we are determined that the museum will carry on.”

Jason Webb, Bottisham Airfield Museum Chairman

Cheers J

P.S If anyone wants to get hands on there will be restoration evenings coming up ,please contact Jason to let him know and i will post dates and times when they are decided.
