Dropping bombs with fighters

So I have recently started loading some of my fighters (like the bf109) with bombs online so I can attack the enemy ships then get involved in some dog fighting. However, when I press my bomb release key...nothing happens. The key works fine for all of the regular bombers and dive bombers, just not the bf109 with a bomb loadout. And yes, my bombs are armed.

Any idea why my regular key for dropping bombs doesnt work on fighter bombers?

ah. yea it was the e4. I hope that gets fixed in the next patch. Ill try the e3. thanks
