Default Suhkoi Forum Tidbits

Taking over from where Phazon left off... here are a few words from the man himself, Luthier over at Suhkoi...

http://translate.google.com/translat...hp%3Ft%3D71595

From Luthier, enjoy...

Well, let's go.

"Message from kefirchik
Ilya, will work in smoothing the final version of the patch?"

No. Radical improvement of graphics acceleration + AA honest, this patch does not have time. Smoothing yet be simple, what to eat.
Sorry - this gigantic task, it is not done quickly.

"Message from IGO1970
Thanks for the update! We look forward to optimizing online, namely, in some cases, the FPS drop when approaching enemy aircraft and subsequent flight to the desktop."

It found and repaired.

"Message from malerai
Opensource projects, eh, apparently still not someone to do serious things. This of course all the fun, but play with so many stereoscopic punch ..."

A pair of scratch

1. There are tasks that are done for months. And there are pieces such as stereo3D who made a couple of hours.

2. The team operates a large number of people with different skills. Putting an aircraft on the programmer's coastline, it is so stupid as to put graphics programmer at pulling in artificial intelligence.

Now the question. Once finished the graphic programmer big task, and before you take up a new one, he made the night for stereo 3D. Understanding the points number 1 and number 2, what's wrong?

"Message from Dad22
But kada FM take?, I understand that woodpeckers crying about shade, Zelenga left of the appendix, the first cob VYLUPVSHEGOSYA standing under the 5th Jupiter to measure the type of Pluto as mud ... READING, previous file themes, but I would like sane Chariton and Lean"

And what exactly you are so much care in Hurrikeyne?
We are constantly changing and improving the work of FM aircraft systems. Unfortunately, Bob is not the old IL-2, which can be shoveled for three days and a plane to radically change.
FM Global goal to which we now confront is a complete processing system chassis. Naturally, all vzvoyut that this is not the most important job, and I had to do more. But the fact that it is on the chassis as the simplest and most broken component FM, we lay the foundation for such a quality that we all would like. Making the behavior of aircraft on the ground, we are faster and easier and can improve their behavior in the air.

"Message from Oleg_Via
And here it is interesting to work on the colors the game will correct the command does not fall in the form of "dancing sine" FPS. Or so it would continue vykrutasnichat. Compared with the previous version of this (at least for me) was not observed. Jumps from 40 to 10"

Yes, we very quickly corrected. That's why beta!

"Message from Slonopotam
No of course, on the contrary I am for all kinds of manifestations of air masses.
Just the current "Blue Horizon" I think very good, and sorry if it screwed in gray."

Guys, I wrote - "we continue to work in color." I have written with that in the screenshots the final, approved lighting?

All tired of answering - and then write another.

It's not that the link is dead - it's more or less the site. Their nameservers are dead at the moment.

ns2.sukhoi.ru returned (SERVFAIL)
ns1.sukhoi.ru returned (SERVFAIL)

All should be working again when they fixed the issues.

If you want to simply check on the progress you can use pingom. Give the test some time to complete though.

Ahhh poor Luthier... Looks like no matter what language the forum is in he gets bombarded with the same questions.

There were some other responses in there, looks like he is trying to find a balance with collision detection on trees. It looks like he is very aware that the engine needs some fine tuning to be able to run it though.

Good find Krupi

Glad someone else has the time to snoop in on the Sukhoi forum. Nice little nuggets of information sometimes, even if it is in engrish.
