New Steppe map as Dogfight map

Hi everyone

I realize that everyone hasn't downloaded the patch yet but I think this new Steppe map is a better size in my opinion for what it's worth than the tiny dogfight maps. It's bigger but not too big. It has a nice big lake with a small island, twisting river for navigation and many bases. Maybe put it up and see how it does instead of the Island of Doom?

I agree with you and would be happy to see it up on Repka #2 for example. Waiting for someone of C# fluent mission makers to script an interesting mission for this map.

When you say you made a CooP mission, does this mean it is a similar set up to IL2 1946 CooP's where you choose a plane (not an airfield) before the mission starts?

Yes that's right. Try it and you'll muddle your way through it. My problem is with a simple Dogfight mission. It just won't start when I hit create.
