Default I have a issue

I was playing the game earlier and all was well, til my plane froze in the air while all other planes kept flying. After I killed the game and restarted it now when I load any mission as soon as I get to the cockpit the graphics go from max settings to what appears to be 1024x768 16x with all settings at low. When I check the settings it shows it being at 1920x1080 with max settings. Any clues or ideas on what the issue may be and what to do to cure it?

TR are you using nvidia?
If so resize your desktop 1920x1080
Also dl 280.36 drivers from guru3d.com
Also before you install any new drivers make sure to uninstall old drivers with driversweeper.
Do this after reboot in safemode.
