Overall Simulation Speed

hi folks,

as Im relatively new to Il-2 COD I'd like to adress more experienced pilots/the devs with the following question:

Do you think the overall simulation speed is apropropriate to realism or is there potential to do better?

First of all I have to say, that Im really amazed by this great sim, though there are many things to optimise / bugs to terminate. The effects and overall scenario are stunning and it really looks authentic.

Already enjoyed my first hours of flight especially with the 109, working quite well already...BUT one thing Im a bit thoughtful about is the (in my oppinion) a little to slow simulation speed...

Just to make this clear first: IM NOT TALKING ABOUT LOW FPS OR STUTTERING HERE... Im talking about smoothly flyin around with about 330 Km/h in the 109 low over ground or water with absolutely no performance issues...fps avg 94 or so...and still it looks a little bit to slow for me (and yes, I have correct engine settings set, my engine is not dying )

Another situation is the approach of a Bomber from behind...the time you have to aim and shoot at them seems to be quite comfortable (?)...Im not reffering to my own experience here, because I dont have any on that, just telling from the numerous youtube vids like this one:

What do you guys think? Whats your experience? Would be great to here your oppinion on this...
