Default Cannot Insert objects onto map

S!

Im using a steam download of Il2 COD.

Running windows 7 64 bit.

Using instructions from page 102 in manual

Open new map.

Select spitfire

hold down left ctrl and left click. Nothing

Hold down right cntrl left click Nothing.

Changed keyboard tried again nothing.

Reinstalled drivers for keyboard and mouse.

Nothing.

Tried Ctrl Alt Del. Get task manager. So ctrl keys are working

Is there a file somehwere that says what keys create the insert command.

Im not calling this a bug yet. Ive been trying this on and off for two weeks without success.

cheers

Try using INS key.
Do you open object browser first?

I strongly do not recommend starting building missions from scratch. Start with editing singleplayer or quick-missions that came with the game. You will learn many things much faster in this way.

The FMB keys are assigned in Builder section of game controls btw.

ok that was it. The standard game that i received via steam had no builder controls setup under control options.

That looks to be the answer. If you dont hear from me you know its fixed.
