Default Control settings file for a newbie ?

Maybe not a complete noob but it's a couple of yrs now that i haven't touched the stick so here i am and going through all that setting again and again could make me flip off for i don't have much practise anymore

I was wondering i anybody is willing to share a controls file to give me a hand getting back on the saddle...

Its a bit hard to share a control configuration if you don't tell us what joystick you are using.

With 8 buttons + HAT use then for critical functions

Example: Buttons in top to control weapons and FOV.

Button1 = MG
Button 2 = Cannon (you can create a different profile in Controls to British planes with a different function in this button, like WEP, since they actually dont use cannon)

Button 3 or 4 = Toggle FOV

Since M$ sidewinder software dont work in Win7, I suggest you download the freeware JoyToKey, whit this you use a POV HAT to emulate "Mouse Vision" that allow a more flexible control of POV than default Snap and Pan system.

So use Button 4 or 3 = Center view

Base buttons:

Button 6 = Lean to gunsight (in Bf109) - In British maybe Look at instruments...

Use button 7 as "MODE" to chance to Joystick2 in JoyToKey (and in Joystick2 to change to Joystick1)

This allow you to assign two different functions to another buttons.

So in Joystick1 buttons 6 and 8 open/close radiator, in Joystick2 increase/decrease prop pitch.

Try to search for TrackIR and freetrack. With these you don't need view buttons
Works great in CLOD.
