Default Forcing Steam to Recognize a Dedicated Server

For days now, I have been forcing steam to recognize my server by right clicking steam in task bar, choosing servers and making it refresh the search on LAN.

I have to do this every time I restart the CoD server and every time the map rotates.

Needless to say, I am getting tired of doing this as I can't watch it 24/7.

I need to determine what's amiss here.

My thoughts are, this is a dummy steam account and does not own Cliffs of Dover. Are there any servers out there like this, that do NOT have this refresh problem?

You can set the Servers (LAN) page as default in Steam settings. Steam can be set to start automatically with Windows or at certain time via Windows Task Scheduler. A program called AutoIt can be scripted to do it automatically too.

A mission within launcher can be started automatically via scripted telnet or .rcu (.srcu) file in IL-2 folder.

The way I got the server to be recognized is to just wait it out. I'm sure there are workarounds to get it to show up instantly, but it seems if you let your server run for a couple hours eventually it will show up on its own. And from that point forward it should show up every time you start it up. That's how it worked for me anyways.
