Default New to Sim or Realistic?

Attention all new Sim and Realistic Players.

IL-2 Birds of Prey for the PS3 has the best online community around. A majority of players play fair and will help all new players. For the most part... More experienced players will help you with settings and will lay off shooting you down until you get the hang of the game. All you need is a "Mike" and a play fair attitude. That means.... Bail out if your plane is damaged and going down! SAVE YOUR VIRTUAL PILOT FROM THE GRISLY HORRIFING DEATH OF PERMANENTLY BEING MELDED WITH VIRTUAL STEEL AND ALUMINUM!
The fact is the game (more often than not) will count you being shot down as a crash instead of a kill! Most the old timers (In realistic and Sim) will bail for you with few exceptions! The game is not always about the "WIN", for most of us, it is about the fun of flying WW2 aircraft, good sacastic conversation and the odd history lesson!

Take care have fun and welcome to the community!

Chameleonlord

Pull the pin.........dont spin in !!!

Nice to see you on the forum Chameleonlord.... and you must be the one player who love's a Fw190 more than I do !

Good first post.......think most of the Realistic Ruffnecks understand the "club rules"......dont forget unless someone tells a new player what they are....they often learn the hard way......

See you soon Ace

No worries... and honestly this is my first post to any forum ever! Now I can blame that on being technilogically challenged or procrastination! Remember, never put something off until tomorrow... which can simply be done the day after that!

Take care guys

Agreed. the old thread has dropped some ways down the list, a gentle reminder can't hurt, to bail out or eject press Start and select 'bail out' option on the menu. Once you start doing it in amoungst the company of players who post on this forum you should notice kills going your way more often. Don't bail out amoungst these guys (myself included) and it can be quite unpleasant.
