Just got the NA version yesterday and am having problems mapping commands and assignments to my Saitek X52 Pro. I double click to change or add , press a joystick button or axis , and nothing is being accepted. The only functions that work from the default map are the throttle and POV hat switch. It seems that CloD is not recognizing my X52 for new assignments.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong ?? Thanks for any assistance. |

JOHN,
After you add "NEW" or "CHANGE" a setting, I believe you have to "APPLY" the setting for it to actually write the code to the conf.ini file. |

First, thanks to all for replying. I'm late getting back to this since I was away for the weekend.
To repeat, my problem is with mapping my axes and buttons on my X52 Pro. I have no problems mapping keyboard input ( ex: mapped the M key as Map , saved , and the M key functions in the game ). When I try to map buttons and axes from my joystick or throttle, they are not being shown in the Set Contriol box .The only functions that work off my Hotas is the throttle and POV hat. |

I know this may be overly obvious, but are you clicking over to the 'axes' mapping button... Top left?

By doing so you are able to write the changes to your PC.
Once you have been able to make incremental changes or are satisfied, make a backup of your configs etc etc under the My Documents folder. I had some really odd settings suddenly appear this afternoon. Fortunately I copied my backup back into the folders as referenced above. and restarted, and my settings are there again. Hope this helps |

I am running in to (what sounds like) the same issue. I cannot map any Joystick axes. I was able to at one point (first-run maybe), but anymore I have no luck. Very frustrating.
Anyone have an idea to get the *&#$^ in-game key-mapper to work? Thanks! |
