What exactly are the new dlls for? Are they the same that come with the 4.09 patch or just for those having problems?

OK about new DLL's, it seems that they do not work for some people, I tried re-install and stuff and it was a no-go until CSThor(thx again) saved the day

Anyway I saw quite a few people having this problem, but we didn't talked it through. What may be the cause? Well I see that mostly people with newer systems say the do not have any problems, maybe it requires some functions from new processor types(Like SSE3 for example)?
Anyway, here is my system:

Amd AthlonXP Mobile Barton @2.2GHz
Abit AN7 NF2(inegrated SoundStorm audio)
1GB(2x512) DDR Corsair memory
GeForce 6800 128MB 256-bit memory
WinXP SP2 with recent DirectX and Forceware(v169.09) updates

If there's anything I can test/try etc. I'll be glad to contribute

~S~ Ivan,
Check this thread please:http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=2463

The new .dll files do not solve this issue, and to my knowledge all 8800 cards running in perfect mode suffer "flashing textures" on aircraft 3D models.

At least two members with ATI 9800Pro reported black perfect water.

New DLL`s have some further optimisation for latest nVidia cards.. along with increasing distance, which is described in the readme. I am a bit puzzled how they would work for some and not work for the others... and what CSThor is offering..

Don't have enough hours in-sim with 4.09 and the dll's to give you a thorough rundown. I like what I am seeing...and this is all subjective....crisper, clearer aircraft at a distance. Nice quality to the render. Will have more after this long weekend.

Oh; AMD 64 X2 4800
4 gigs of Corsair
BFG 7950 GT OC 1/2gig ram

1280 by 960 100mhz refresh
AA8
AF16
V-sync off

My game has never looked better. It has a real crisp clean look to it and runs smooth as silk.

They work good for me with new maps, very little frame rate drop using new settings.

LandGeom=3

Now with the old maps I see more drop in frame rate.

8800gt
AMD FX-62
2 gigs DDR2

Other then that, no artifacts that I have seen yet.
