Default people expect too much from ai, all ai is stupid skynet is far

chess has made people think that ai is smart

wrong chess is a stupid game of memory thats why ai excels at it

now make ai play go, a game in which both the creative and logical side of the brain are needed

but best way to see how dumb is ai its make it play games with hidden info like stratego or texas holdem poker

oh god it took me half hour to know how to beat the hell out of the most advanced ai at poker while learning the game

poker is a human game the man excels over the machine, chess is just a complex tictac toe at which machines excel

so dont complain about the game ai i find it great for how stupid machines are currently

oh and i bet that when machines get ensouled the right movie is ai by spilberg not terminator by john cameron

btw ai has already overpowered humans on music however dumb it is

Try the AI of this game...

Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

I'd be happy with the 1946 AI in CoD.

Me too.

Some of the best AI I ever encountered was still the AI from Half-Life 1.

Sadly, with online being the rage these days, AI has been sorely neglected by many developers.
