Off line play
Is there any way to launch COD without being "On Line" and go through "Steam". I was under the impression that all that was neaded was to be "On Line" to register, after that off line play was available. When I try to launch COD "Off Line" I get "Steam must be activated to launch game", this indicates to me that it is an "On Line" game only.

The Steam client must be running, but it doesn't have to be online. Go into your Steam settings and look for the option "go offline." Dover will run just fine that way.
