Default Max viewdistance in conf.ini?

Is it VisibilityDistance=3 or can it be set higher?

Since finding the forum link below and playing around with my conf file for the first time:

http://www.mission4today.com/index.p...op=show&kid=27

I now have the same probelm. Although all graphics seem to be massively improved (trees, water, clouds etc), the view distance seems to have been lowered. Tried changing this to 0, 1, 2 and 3, but nothing seems to change. FYI, I've already tried changing the view distance through the in-game options menu, and still no joy

So glad I decided to have a play around with the conf file though, it's really improved the immersiveness of this game!

Small thing but I found ground unit visibility improves when you use OpenGL instead of DirectX.
