Default Battle of Britain Video - a short history

First, many thanks to Freycinet whose 'Manston Attack' Video inspired me to make this partly historical BoB video for my class at school. They all have game consoles and continually ask me to show them what a PC combat flight sim is like (compared to their FPS games such as COD, Halo, etc).

The video tries to give a perspective of combat from all the participants in the mission. It's about 12 minutes long!

Also, many thanks to the unknown sim enthusiasts for creating the custom GB speech packs for IL1946 (which are used in the video) along with the stock ones.

Can't wait to get home and see this. We all need to place our clips into a repository some where so we can call it our "stock footage" to use when we make movies. Freycinet is an animal. Love his videos.

Thanks guys, the actual file resolution is 720 x576 (half my screen res) but I am not too savvy on how Youtube determines what res it applies. It seems to look ok launched from my laptop and fed to the OHP in the classroom. A bit of grain might help to give it a sightly aged look....

Thanks for sharing that SEE. Really enjoyed it.

Agree with No1 Cheese, wish I had teachers like you at school, mind you, they would have had to try to teach me history with Pong. Probably wouldn't have had the same impact
