Default Game will not start!

Hey guys, Im having a difficult time here. Ill tell you my exact sequence maybe someone can tell me WTF is going on.

HAve the JUST FLIGHT version (activated through steam of course) Im in the States. I DL'ed the latest BETA over wrote the "Parts" folder, started the game. It gave me some strange error (that I cant remember) but then the game started but I saw NO servers. I decided to go to my back up of the "PARTS" folder. Then the game would not start at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it just hangs at the steam start up of the game.

I REALLY wanna try the game out since the patch but cant! Can anyone help?

You are posting to the wrong sub-forum, the one you should be asking and looking for solutions is the last forum: CoD download, installation and activation threads here:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/forumdisplay.php?f=193

The description of your problem is a bit vague so I can only try to make some suggestions:

#1 Go back to the current official version of the game
Your STEAM is working I presume.
In STEAM, right-click on the CoD game and select Properties
In the new window that appeared, t the top menu list, select LOCAL FILES and then ask it to VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE
Steam will then download the correct files of the current official version.

You should now be able to play the game.

#2 Your game should be at (if you have Win7-64): c: Programm(x86) Steam SteamApps common il2-sturmovik Cliffs of Dover
Make a back of your CoD game directory somewhere else in your hard disk (let's call it CoD2)

#3 Unzip the beta patch files into the CoD2 directory.

So now, when you start the game from Steam you will have your offical version, when you start the launcher.exe from the CoD2 directory, you will be running the beta patch.
(Steam has to be running in the background in both cases).

I hope it helps...

Start with the excellent advice by Athos, especially having steam revert your installation to "official" standard first of all.

If you are still having problems you can have a look here as well, there are a few "tricks" that can prevent certain launcher crashes and graphics glitches when updating from one version to the next:
