Did you read the whole story?

Forgetting its modern day, you could almost imagine that it was 1944 and this bird was limping home by the way some witnesses were describing it.... quite eery really,especially as their was "a little friend" flying on the wing, like a escort or something similar.

The plane is a mess, but FULL CREDIT must be given to the pilot, he managed to set her down extremely well and not only saved the lives of everyone on board,but also prevented serious injury to civilians on the ground.

Lancaster man Winny, sad all the same. See the one of the Goodyear Blimps went down over the weekend with the pilot dropping his passengers before going down with it.
