Default Gunsight Fix?

I don't know if anybody post anything about gunsight and 6Dof
but I have found οθτ that when you fly a 109 and you pull your head buck or fully forward (inside the cockpit) the illuminated gunsight, has always the same size.

Isn't that wrong ?

Isn't that affecting convergence shooting ?

No it's not a bug, the Revi gunsight shows the reticle always at the same size, no matter how far or what angle you look at it.

And no, it doesn't affect your shooting. It would affect if it would change size

The reticle rings have to stay the same size regardless how far you look at it, otherwise you couldn't assess the target range correctly.

Good vid .. and no, this isn't a Revi in the vid but the principle is the same:

You need this book:
Horrido - Des Jägers Scjiessfibel

Around 8. page: How you can measure a distance with the Revi. Read it!

yeah its wrong

someone should listen to my idea of turning the screen into a virtual window

the cross hair has a constant angular size however distance you look at it of a fighter at 100 m

oh and in that clip the zoom is being used so it really doesnt change angular size

Did you not understand that the conclusion is that it is 'correct' the 109 sight 'does' remain the same size, this is correctly modelled in the sim so no need for 'magic' windows to an alternate reality needed here.

Other vid:

from 0:48 you see, the revi crosshair size doesent change, no matter were you are in cocpit.
In the game, the crosshair size change only, if u change FOV.
