Default UP3.0 Question?

Loving the UP3 maps and play...wondered if anyone could help with the following queries:

1) In game minimap. I right clicked and instead of zooming in/out it changed to show only a/c, no terrain or waypoints. Then clicked IL2 view and can't change ot back, a right click zooms again. Any idea how to change the map back.

2) All far east maps have black square trees...annoying, any idea what I have to do to make them visible?

Thanks

Gribbers

1)The minimap zoom is on the mouse scroll wheel in 3.0.. a GREAT touch.. I wish TD would do that!!!

2)No idea.. I'd check my video settings as a start.

Please check the stationary plane spawning video again. You'll see mouse wheel zoom in FMB. Works similar way in briefing map and ingame map.

Cheers guys,

Got the scroll whell thing and can zoom in and out, and agree, it's a nice touch.

Only thing is I can zoom, but the map only shows planes, bridges and airfields, and I can't get the terrain...when I right clicked it still zooms (like old '46), I can't get the menu up on the map to select back to UP3 map menu.

Also another couple of questions that are equally as noobish:

3) All early series Bf109s leave a fuel/mixture trail in their wake...all the time. AI or player...is that normal. Can understand if it was me messing up the mixture but the AI on Ace at 500 or at 5000, always a thick trail.

4) Ground textures look worse all round...loads of painted on hedgerows and less trees, and I can't set ground texture to perfect (probably cos of RAM).

Apologies if this has been covered before...and still doesn't stop me playing
