Default Control issues

Ok folks, I need some help. I don't know what I'm doing with the control sensitivity, which I now have back to default.

I'm using a Saitex X52 (not the pro), and have major issues while dogfighting - none that I really encountered in old IL2.

I find that the controls do not respond quite the way that I physically input them.. i.e. in a dogfight tonight, I was just wanting to nose up a couple hairs to get a death-blow in on a 109 that I was having it out on the SYN server with and got pretty much no response when easing the stick back a tad. Ease back a little more, and my reticle overshoots the top of him, and he banks off...beginning the chase anew. Any suggestions to make the controls a bit more responsive?

I'm no great fighter by any means, but I was gonna bag this guy one way or another lol He eventually crashed due to extensive damage, not without wasting most of my ammo belts since I was unintentionally firehosing here and there mostly due in part to the control issues.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i... have also encountered this. does anyone know of a way to change the joystick input in the same way as 1946? i'm guessing there's no il2joycontrol-type utility available to alter to get back the pretty curves and the desired sensitivity differences between levels of input for various axis. for instance, i really need to alter my trim so it's less sensitive nearer the middle and only goes full input towards the limits of the dial, let alone customising joystick curves to mitigate for twitchy-hamfisted-ness.

Sometimes you can have very high FPS in MP, but controls will feel like you have 10-15 fps only. Not only this results in overcontrol while shooting, but it also makes stalls, spins very frequent. Usually this happens when server lags or there is lagging plane nearby.

Nope...I have this aswell And with my FPS counter running i'm at 70-95fps while running another program The plane just doesn't like to pitch up or down to where you want it its almost like a bounce effect I think its more of a program then joystick

As I said, you may have high FPS (frame change is smooth, FPS counter shows high numbers), but controls feels like it is 15fps only (ala "keyboard" effect). This happens for me only in MP, and usually only when lagging plane is nearby. It is almost like game slows down your FM, so that to keep it in sync with other lagging player.
