Default Track Ir in Cliffs of Dover

Before the last patch I was able to re-center my Track Ir in game (default key F12)
Now I cannot without Alt Tabbing out of the game, this is perhaps because before it had no actual full screen mode I don't know, I see no in-game function hard coded to F12 though I may have missed it. Can someone look at this? Anyone else have this particular issue?

Steam also uses f12 for its screenshot feature. This may not be related but...

Bigger question is when is there going to be a track ir profile for CLoD?

I'm not sure I understand? It works already, if you want a custom profile make one, I did it's not difficult.

You can set the hot keys for TIR to whatever you want.

I have precision mode set to F6 and recenter set to F5...
and my keybinds in CLOD have those keys unused.

no problem

I want a profile because i use different keybindings for different games. So If I play arma2, I'm not stuck with il2's keys. For some reason arma2 track ir profile isn't kicking in when the game start.

hi,
another question regarding to trackir/gunsight wiew:
when I start a quick mission I see the crosshair in the middle of the revi, looks like this:

afer a few minutes the crosshair is "sliding down" and I can see only the upper half of it, just like in this picture (tr center button doesn't help):

I have tried many things to fix it but nothing helped, I have a trackir 4pro, and I only use the x, y axes instead of all 6 axes. Does anybody else have the same problem?

i had the same issue, although i always used full screen mode.for me it seems that enabling and disabling steam cloud has something to do with it.
i cured this issue with running trackir software as administrator.

trackir worked from day one, but after i disabled steam cloud and enabled it again, i couldn recenter trackir anymore.
i was pretty clueless because i dont use F12 for making screenshots in steam.
i opened a thread with the same question and somebody gave me the hint to run trackir as admin.though i never had problems without doing so,i tried and it worked again, though my profile got lost through that procedure.

I've found that if the mouse is set to look mode (ie; no pointer showing) I cannot centre TIR, it'll happily work with mouse mode enabled in CoD.

Also, am I the only one suffering tracing glitches at all? seems that my view will glitch to odd angles every now and then.

Until it crapped out a couple of weeks ago, I had TIR4, and F12 worked just fine. I now have TIR5, and it works even better. F12 works, too. But, I still have some of the same problems mentioned above, which I think are profile problems.

I think another problem is just moving around in your seat, and not going back to exactly where your head was when you hit F12 at the beginning of a flight.

Can someone with TIR5 explain how to set and save a profile, and/or maybe provide a good one? The default profile moves too fast for my taste.

Thanks,

binky9
