Default New Lighting appreciation thread.

well ive seen it all and all i can say to Luthier and Co. YOU THE MAN !!!!!!

seriously im not aware of any better looking sim or game out today. Utterly Fantastic work. from the colour bleeding at dusk, to the blinding flash from the glass materials to how the light now affects the clouds and everything else for that matter. holy shit this is flippin awesome ! thank you.

ok so now that out the way. i must ask if this is the start of the HDR options? (quoted in the manual are HDR options in the graphics settings.)

iam utterly mesmerized by what iam seeing.

what else can we expect ?

please only add constructive critiscism. this is a positive thread !. dont abuse it. show your screenshots of these new effects. And love what you see. i do.

Agreed - after all the whining about colors before I'm amazed that there is not more talk about the new color and lighting that is a lot more desaturated than before. No more lime green!

Yep, looks really good now. Especially late evening, say 18:00 or 19:00 lighting is fantastic...

If you aren't aware of any better looking games, you haven't played many games

im a graphic artist, and i have played pratically everything. and im concinced there is no better implementation of current gen shaders, both in terms of stylisation and completeness. practically everything possible is going on in dx10. and well i just appreciate it. so you take your stupid pov that doesnt add any constructive critiscim to anyone but me and leave.

In terms of lighting, & overall graphics aswell as sound & performance, the current COD is still leaps & bounds away from Rise of Flight. This is not to say I'm slagging COD & the efforts of it's team as I am sure that this sim will, in the near future; have it's day. It's just a long way off atm

The shots look more or less the same to me, with different time of day. Were they taken at the same time of the day?
