Thanks for the link. The skin of the Lancaster is so bumpy! I wonder how much faster it would be if the skin was smooth.

Sweet. For me, it answers some questions and raises others. Fuel gauges in Nav station. Separate radar station. The twin-50 tail turret is interesting. I wonder how many had that conversion. Great link. Thanks.

I thought the Lancs that were armed with .50 Brownings were, like the flyable example in Canada, built for use in the Pacific, but were not deployed there as the war ended before they were sent.
