Bombsight reticles illumination for Russian bombsights?

Is there a way to brighten the reticle on the bombsights of Pe-2 and Pe-8?
trying to make some nite missions and cant see my reticle too well since it cant be brightened. Have key set for reticle brightness and sun shade removed from reticle. seems this only applies to gun sight not bombsight?
