Default Battle of Stalingrad Historical Missions for Arcade Players (PS3)

Hi all,

As I did for the Battle of Britain historical missions, I'm putting this out there for any forum members who might be interested. WHENEVER PSN gets back up an running, I'll be starting up my next set of historical missions covering the Battle of Stalingrad. The series will span 22 historically accurate missions from the opening bombardment of Stalingrad (August 23rd, 1942) up to the day before the surrender of the 6th Army (January 30th, 1943).

I was originally planning on starting up on the 16th of May, but of course that all depends on when we can all get back online. Games will be played on various days depending on the amount of participation, but will generally start up at 10:30pm EST. The difficulty setting as stated in the topic heading will be arcade level with limited ammo, limited fuel and either minimized or disabled HUDs (players choice). If you're interested and can get on during that time, then please post a response here. I already have a group of guys set to start up, so available slots are already limited!

Thanks for reading!

The Battle of Britain historical missions were some of the best times I've had so far with BoP. I'll be there.

Hi RuffMonk....I have been switching between Arcade / Realistic & some Sim (badly!).......Ratman's Realistic Historical's are great...I would love to catch a few of your Historical's......10.30pm EST is 3.30am for me....But I would make the effort on some for sure...Are these to be weekend's or weekday's...?

Will you post a pre set agenda on the date's ?

@ StiC

It was a pleasure having you join us for the Battle of Britain and I'm looking forward to flying with you again for Stalingrad. Having just finished writing up the missions, I personally think these will be better than the BoB missions, so I think you'll be in for an even better time this time around.

@WildBoar44

Some of both! I don't typically do set nights as I understand peoples schedules change and so I generally try to see what nights work best for everyone and set nights based on that. I'll be sure to add you to the message list for updates and you can join up whenever you can. Frog Saunders is in your time zone as well and he didn't miss a night once he joined up, but I swear I don't know how he did it, lmao!!! I asked him one night and his reply was, "insomnia," lmao!!!

Hi all,

FYI - Since I still need to do some prep work on some of the online maps, the start up has been moved to Monday, May 23rd at 10:30pm EST.

To all of my defenders and assailants of Stalingrad,

The 6th and 4th Panzer Armies shall march on Stalingrad tonight at 10pm EST instead of 10:30pm EST. Going to get started 30 minutes early as I have quite a bit of info to go over before we take flight! I'll see you in the skies over Stalingrad comrades!
