Default Request gun convergence clarrification please

Luthier,

Thank you for your support as we learn to fly with CoD. I would be pleased if you could answer the following questions:

1. Are weapon loadout gun convergence settings in meters or yards when we set them for BRITISH aircraft?

2. I presume that the gun-sight ring setting that we set in the BRITISH aircraft is calibrated for yards as far as simulator settings are concerned?

I like to fly with my gun convergence set at 250 yards for British aircraft. Therefore, if the loadout gun convergence is calibrated in meters, I will know that I need to set it to 229 meters (to give me 250 yards) and adjust my gun-sight ring to 250 yards to match.

Thank you in anticipation

Happy landings,

Talisman

Might be a while before Luthier answers, he may be on Hols!

The Sights are calibrated in Imperial but crosshair adjustments have already been established as being currently inaccurate. You will have to use 'guesstimation' as in IL1946 based on wingspan relative to ring diameter.

The 105m ring seems accurate and, from what I can tell, gun convergence settings seems to be Metric for all.
