Default What would be the best budget card for CoD

I'm looking for a good budget card to play CoD.
I have a Core 2 quad 3Ghz cpu and 4G ram. But no graph onboard 1G shared and when I start CoD it just force shut down almost crashing my machine.

what if I say GeForce GTS 450 D5 1G?

any other smart recommendation within price range?

Thanks

Well for $300 (AUD ) you can get a 2GB 560ti , this is 1/4 of the price you would have paid for an 8800GTX back in the day. And it is 2x faster.

While we're on the subject of GPU's (hope you don't mind wannabe), what sort of card would trump my 8800GTS for under £80gbp? I'm beginning a build now, will be using 8800 temporarily.

Pref ATi.

I'd try to find a used 470/480 from someone upgrading to 5xx.

Salute

Best card for the money is the ATI 6950, it has 2 gig's of VRAAM, something which CoD really benefits from, it can be overclocked to 6970 performance quite easily and is not an expensive investment at $239.00.

Any HD6850, very good $/FPS ratio. Or a 460 GTS, whichever is cheaper. If you like to go a step cheaper then I recommend the HD5770. Remember guys, he wants a BUDGET card.
