Steam Name Vs In Game Name

I have a 609 member who is in a different clan for another game and does not want to change his steam name to match his CloD name. Is there a way for him to change his name in CloD only?

I do not think so, BUT it should be fairly simple to swap names within steam

I know your team mates pain but you can easily change your name back and forth.

The only thing that could be done would be for the developers to add a separate registration, like ROF this means that you would have to sign in once the game has started but you would not have to change your name constantly.

Either that or he helps the cause of COD and sets up another account and then buys COD on that

Couldn't the devs just use something like the Source MP games on the HL2-EP1 engine and earlier where you just set your multiplayer name in the options; completely independent of your steam name.

They should add an option like in the IL2 screen to add pilot's name.

I agree that it should be possible to create a sort of pilot profil within the game and the ingame stats connnected to it. It should be creatable and deletable.

I also agree, would be good to be able to reset stats in extras as well, atm they seem kinda buggy in regards to friendly kills ect, though I notice online missons are now registering.
