For me it works, but only a tiny bit. Even 8x doesn't do much, but it's way better than nothing.

there was a theory full screen support solves the poor AA. Now we have fullscreen support with latest beta. Tried it with all combinations of nvidia driver settings (latest driver). No change. Still 2xaa max.

There was a recent article on THG about the application of AA in modern games, and it’s a bit more complicated than used to be the case. Apparently, in some cases AA cannot be applied to certain shader effects (the article was typically long-winded and involved), and they examined various AA modes in a number of games using both Ati and nVidia cards – some modes had no effect in some games, others were more successful.

It may be the case that current drivers are not employing the process effectively enough to be noticeable. I haven’t tried ‘super sampling’ yet, which results in a huge fps drop in other games I’ve tried, along with a very obvious ‘smoothing’ of everything. It definitely doesn’t work as well as it does in Rof, for example, but maybe future drivers will have better results

i am not fanatic AA-Junkie who use 32AA or other useless "improvements" in image quality. But in a flightsim low AA ruins all the nice graphics of COD and destroy immersion for me. Lets hope someone will find a solution in the next months.....
