Default Sounds are bad

Sorry to post another thread with me complaining about something, but I am not just randomly bashing the game here, I am trying to point out actual issues I have encountered. Though this time it might just be opinions, feel free to give yours as well.

Engine sounds: Once again these sounds are like lawnmowers, hopefully someone can make a custom sound mod for CoD. I would even pay for it like an FSX add-on if its good enough.

Gun sounds: Mediocre, these can be re-done or not; they are not nearly as important as engine sounds.

Engine sounds from other aircraft: If an enemy plane zooms past me 30 feet from my aircraft I expect to be able to hear it. And it should sound awesome, not like my neighbors Briggs&Stratton going by. CFS2? was the last game that got this right? Whoever does the sounds for CoD needs to go to a couple airshows, although in Russia I would find something solid to sit under before something breaks and falls out of the sky.( Hey look! A copy of CoD is fluttering down now...)

Wind noise: There isnt any? When I pop the canopy there is no wind noise at all. When I open a canopy window there is no change in engine or wind noise. Not very good for immersion.

In general: The sounds are piss poor, I dont any other way to describe them. To me engine sounds are the most important and are also among the worst. It seem everything that was good about 1946 was scrubbed and everything that was bad was kept. Another 10 years of horrible sounds? Lets hope not.
