Default New graphics card ??

Hey, I have a

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz

with 8gb RAM

and a

NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT with 1gb RAM

with all detail turned up full and 1680x1050 res
I am getting 6-fps on land and 15 ish over sea. would getting a big new graphics card make a massive differance ?


is that a good one ?
and which would be best. am currently looking at GTX570 SC 1.2 gb RAM

For the same price you could get an ATI 6970 with 2 Gigs of RAM.. Mine runs the game very VERY well... I would also try to consider the performance in other games you tend to play..should be loads of reviews out there..

Also, your 2500K Should run at 4Gigs with no problem..even with a good air cooler..
