Default vsync off/on

is there a way to allow the Vsync working without problems? no matter what setting is on the nvidia control panel, the vsync is off. Enabling desktop composition seems to help, but the game starts to stutters. Gtx 570

Hi, I too noticed that Vsync is not working well or not working at all......I noticed screen tearing while using TiR and even when panning with mouse...It seams that game still not using full screen....
my spces:
i7920@3.5Ghz, GTX470 Twinfrozr2 (OC to 750Mhz on core), 6GB of RAM, running game in native resolution of my monitor (1680x1050), Win7 64bit

hey guys
have you tried using D3DOverider that comes bundled with Riva Tuner?...with it you can force on v-sync and triple buffering...it works great for removing tearing when panning with TIR...but it comes with a performance hit and I can only use it on solo fights...slows down my system too much for the dogfights...but you both own better HW and should be o.k..you lucky bastards

Thank you, but I don't like to mess my drivers with rivatuner. The other games work with vsync enabled without problem, but I can survive with Cod Vsync off.
@HH_Cipher: 4Gb at 1600 here, I'll try with grass off.

We need proper full screen before AA and Vsync work as they should.

nVidia Inspector don't work either

maybe a false positive, but there was a notice at the bottom of the nVI opening page for an updated version... I ran this and my AV stomped on it bigtime.

nVI was run from my download folder (and scanned before running), yet the file which was stomped on was in my App Data/ Local folder

Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound.
