Game Screen Stops at Mission Load

Running the game via steam, loads fine until I go to start a mission and the load bar goes to 100% and the game seems to start but stays on the load screen. You can hear the sounds and exit using the escape button but not move onto any game footage?

Running on Sony vaio f series lap top with win 7, gt330m (latest drivers), 4th ram ....

Any ideas?

Seem to get a small error message about nvidia driver kernel problem but restarted? Pops up for a second when game loading...
