has anyone managed to fly a co-op yet?

I would be interested in flying CoOp mode, trouble is it would be a lot harder to organise and the ai would probably be hard on performance. However given time im sure some coop servers will emerge.

but "meeting" on the runway and start together is not working anymore...

and if you let spawn the aircraft on the field (not on the runway) , so that you dont 'spwan' in an already starting plane , the spwanpoints are so bad that not seldom the planes are damaged or explode while hitting buildings when spawning.

In my experience, COOP playing like in old IL2 is over in the current state AFAIK.
And that after 10 years of COOP missionbuilding and flying in online wars........

but perhaps there is something in the depths of the CoD FMB that is hidden by lack of documentation and/or bad translation (at least in my german version)..who knows
