i7 2600 and P67 combo problems

I am just a few days away from ordering a new rig.
I had in mind the i7 2500 or 2600 and an ASUS P8P67-M pro
However it seems that every thread I see with this combination seems to be having more problems with CoD than others.
Is anyone with this set up actually getting good results?

My current choice of card is either the 560ti 2GB or the 570 1280MB - advice on either of these also appreciated

i5 2500K or i7 2600K Don make sure you get the "K" variant or you cannot overclock. I would get the i5 2500K if I were you..

I have the 2500K and the MSI P67A-GD65 and the game runs really really well... Have not seen any major problems myself or posted actually..
