I cannot see realistic Gunnery
I use a steam version under Won7 64bits, I am pretty sure that I checked the realistic gunnery option in the realism page. I did several tries on intercepter the wellington bomber with 109e3 from her five or seven clock. but I found the there is totally no need to take a lead fire. if you use this way you will miss it. all you need to do is just put the cross hair on the target. That is very wierd.
BTW yesterday a try to switch the temerpature effect on in the game. But to my suprised is that I need to quit the game and restart it to really enable it. My question is do the game can really recognize my setting? did someone experience same thing as me? |

The gunnery is broken and will be patched... the settings are bugged, like weapons loadouts.
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?p=247765 besides that, the head motion makes you aim out of axis, making a "natural lead", but, as i said, even without head movement the aiming is bugged. Last edited by SacaSoh; 04-03-2011 at 04:19 AM. |

And try changing the line ";ProcessAffinityMask=2" to "ProcessAffinityMask=15" in your "conf.ini" C:\Users\"User name"\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover and see if it helps. Last edited by SacaSoh; 04-03-2011 at 04:37 AM. |

from luthier:
"4. FM and ballistics. We have already addressed the issue where rounds appeared to leave aircraft sideways. This was caused by the difference between physical and rendered position of the aircraft, i.e. the rendered position lagged behind the actual aircraft position. Our aircraft programmer has a huge bucket list of things to check, which he’s going over at a rather brisk pace." --This is why the gunnery seem to be broken, its because your plane its delayed , i think that this its afection to our perception of the fliying model, due this lag, so when you start to turn , your plane is turning before you can see it, and that creates te perception than you are shootin directly to the target, but you are shooting with more deflection. For me its a hugggggggeeeeeeee ploblem and i hope this is the first thing the fix. |

Just about the only thing that feels weird to me is the ease with which some planes go down. I've read the descriptions about German planes limping home with lots of bullet holes.
Guess I must be getting too close again...... |
