Cool Most successful mission so far

Normally I only rack up 1 or 2 (maybe 3) kills in a mission, especially playing as RAF, because of improvements to AI and damage model, but I've just flown a Frei Jadg in a Bf110 over Manston. I shot down 6.5 e/a's in 20 minutes.

Heres some screenies for those without the sim:

One of my first kills (a Hurri) turned into a flamer after a few cannon shells

A little while later, I attacked a formation of Spits, and had to quickly dive under one after smashing cannon shells into its wing and fuselage

Another angle on the above. In the distance, you can see another victim from this formation spiralling down. I killed the pilot from range.

One of my final kills - at Manston a landing Spit got cartwheeled by a hail of rounds and shells.

After this flight I think the Zerstorer kicks in this sim!

Anybody got any similar tales?
BobTuck.

I agree with you Tuck- the damage inflicted by the concentrated cannon and the steady gun platform work well in this sim. I expect it will not be the same when we get to fly online and there is no AI pilot pulling nice gentle curves for us.

It will be a death trap.

I will still play it though.

110 was nearly as big as a 111, enough said.

I like the 110 but i can't use it with the quick missions anymore

After flying for half an hour in a DF server a couple of nights go it seems that something got broken, it's as if the server's settings over-ride the single-player settings and stay that way.

I select the quick mission i want fly, change my aircraft to the 110 and the only loadout i get is empty, not default (both for the C-4 and the C-7).

I tried going into options->planes and adjusting the loadouts, saving the default setting with another name, pressed ok to exit the menu screens (since pressing back apparently discards all changes) and tried again...no luck, the only available loadout in the drop-down menu is empty.

Any ideas would be really helpful, as i like flying the 110 a lot because of its firepower and its added complexity.

just a stab in the dark, but how about you check out the user.ini in the documents area?

mine seems to store aircraft load-outs, as follows:
