Mission: Turning Point (incompletable objective solution)
The final mission of the Allied Campaign - Fox Hunt - in the base Men of War game, is frequently incompletable upon initial playthrough due to some kind of bugged script regarding the primary objective 'neutralise the enemy mortars'.
I just encountered this problem myself and found many threads on various forums complaining about the issue but only one that offered any kind of solution. Having found my own experience to differ but to have successfully completed the mission by a slightly different means, I figured I'd share it in obvious terms so future googlers can find the relevant information quickly.
Caveat: Turning point IS the final mission of the Allied campaign, and completing it simply takes you back to the singleplayer menu. Your only reward for overcoming the bug and concluding the mission properly will be the victory prompt and agonising voice-over describing the protagonist's feelings on the allied victory in Africa.
If you really want to finish it 'officially' nonetheless, reload the autosave (should be autosave2, but in any case the most recent), then complete the objective of holding off the waves of tanks and infantry that assault the East wall.
In one player's experience I think merely loading the autosave immediately completed the mortar objective, allowing him to complete the later objectives without further issues - however in my experience, reloading Autosave2 and completing the objective to hold off the attack from the East immediately auto-completed all the later objectives involving the counterattack (as though the game still had my completion of those objectives tagged) without me actually needing to do anything more.
Chiefly I hope this will simply allow players trapped by the bug to quit the mission when they are trapped by the bugged objective, knowing they have completed that campaign but for the concluding voice-over =)
See you on the battlefield.
