Default New screenshots 8 march 2011 (?).

I found these by Google.

Sorry if they've been posted before. I may have missed them. They are new to me anyway.
The last one looks like one we saw before, but it is from a different angle, (I'll include that for comparison).

The first one: The hedgerows looks more convincing than in some other screenshots.
I like the look of the town, all it needs is a school or a church (and pub) and it would be just about perfect.

The last one is similar to this earlier one: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...123_122439.jpg

These were shown here a few times, but were not in an official release. For those who may have missed them:

Dont like the textures/skins myself because they lack detail. Since when does a plane have a perfectly spotless yellow nose? There is no definition in the skin/texture, it would be fine from a distance but up close looks really low quality (like the rivets/bolts look like circles, looks 2d and flat).

The screens look great.
As far as any low quality skins are concerned, like before, the talented skinners will bring the most out of what can be done.

Back in the day I used to RC model. I always admired hobbyists who could manage to do fine scale RC. One of the 'tools' used to simulate rivets on aircraft was pin heads. Some used glue, but found it was difficult to get uniform screw heads. Not sure what is used now, but back in the early 70s that's what was used.

If I remember I think Oleg said panel lines and rivets aren't skin-able.

Personally I think the shots look fine. Only thing puzzling me is what's up with the dotted lines on the lone #6 BF 109 screen shot? Looks like a strange attempt at cell shading. Still, all in all if this plays on my PC I'm happy.

EDIT: re dotted lines. It's on all the 109s. HUH? Maybe AA will take care of that when it's turned on.

This photo is a bit dirty and low quality, but gives an idea of how the yellow might look after a few months use:

A nice shot to be sure, but I don't think so. Unless you believe LW uniforms were green-brown as well What I'm saying is, the photograph was in all likelihood touched up (shopped in modern terms) to hell, perhaps even colorized by hand like so many others, for some postcard or journal or whatever due to inferior film quality and it doesn't faithfully represent the colors in the original scene and noone at the time would have claimed otherwise.
