Default Adding AI planes to a dogfight scenario in 4.10

On the UK-Dedicated series of servers we've used the old AI plane trick to add B-17s and B-24s and Tu-2s to a variety of scenarios where having a heavy bomber is our preferred method of getting around. It's usually quite a bit of fun despite the lack of cockpits. With UP some people even get to have the hack and slash cockpits so they can fly around from there. Whatever makes people happy right?

Problem is that with 4.10 for whatever reason the AI plane trick no longer works. I've checked a few scenarios but it doesn't seem to be working. At least not the way it used to. Any suggestions?

I suspect that this is because of the inclusion of the MDS.

If you look in the FMB the individual AI flights have a tick box for AI or human piloting (I forget the exact terms used). The AI only aircraft do not show this option.

The days of flying an AI from externals on a stock server are over.

As an aside I was going to try UKD1 the other day, but saw that Wonder Woman view was enabled. As I only fly in closed cockpits I was disappointed.
Maybe I'll try it anyway, even with my disadvantage.

There is also UK-2 (although not so popular right now) and UK-3 for slightly more hardcore crowds.

No offense either ElAurens but I'm not as pessimistic yet. Anyone else tried and succeeded to get AI planes to work? If not then I consider this a bug We will get them back

Unfortunately 2 and 3 use a mod pack that I would not touch with a 10 foot joystick.

The fact they worked at all was the bug. They have simplified FM and DM and should never have been flyable

I don't like your chances of getting a bug that has been fixed reintroduced.
