I am doing a no-loss impossible mage game. It appears I am stuck with Gremlion because I have only the diploma and leather vest for magic resistance (~35%). Since I kited the entire world already, I doubt there are any new items to be found.

Is there some way to kill Gremlion without loss still? If not, is there some way for me to edit in the items? I have the save game scanner, but I am not sure what lines to add in. While using a save game editor is considered cheating, I couldn't care less if my item rolls happen to be bad.

That's because I refuse to let all the carefully executed battles be wasted simply due to bad item rolls.

I will post my question in this thread as it is similar.

I cannot beat Gremlion with fairly low losses.

My situation:
Impossible mage, losses acceptable. Lot's of cash, all islands (without Reha) cleared, tons of crystals.
So - in short - I can have any spell and any unit.
I have almost 60 intellect and 160 mana. I regenerate 13 mana/turn for first 10 turns.

I tried trolls with stone skin+divine armor, but they deal only ~1000 damage, so it would take like 130 turns to kill him :/ I played for about 30 turns and there were 4 gremlin towers and almost no more place for more enemy units to be summoned

What would you recommend? Any set of units and spells taken into consideration.

In case of emergency break glass .

Diploma Antimage - 95% Magic resist
It shows in description "25% " but it gives 95% after modding.

black knights+shard of darkness+eviln spell

I am unable to get shard of darkness because I already cleared islands of enemies with other companion...

You don't need shard of darkness although it does help alot. You don't even need to max Eviln. I managed just fine with stoneskin + at least one item with +x% physical resistance and lvl 1 and 2 Eviln.

I have a problems completing the battle with Black Knights and Evlin.
Sooner or later I get in a position where my turn is late enough so that killed unit is replaced either by new unit summoned by Gremlin Towers or just by coming unit. That way there is no way to put myself on a dead stack changed into Evlin

I will have to try with my trolls again...
