Default Luthier, max distance EA will be displayed?

I did a search, but going through each of the 21 hits seems a bit tedious, so I'll ask for your kind indulgence. Has the displaying of enemy aircraft been changed for SOW. I was reading a post below about enemy dots being optimized for 1078 resolution. How will SOW improve on that? Some guy complained that on a 2500x screen he could not see aircraft on the ground from 1000m. Guess I wouldn't buy a 30 inch monitor if that were true of SOW. How far will the distance be ( and how displayed) for spotting aircraft in SOW? Airborne distance will be farther than seeing an aircraft on the ground?
thanks!

PS will we get that sound update this week?

Agree with you, if we buy a good monitor we doesnt want to uso 1024x768 resolution. Also Oleg I hope you improve the charge of the object in high altitude, because it makes harder the high altitude bombing
