Cheap Track IR.....

Funny how some really excellent threads get overlooked. If you have WOP/IL1946 (or any game that benefits from Track IR), and haven't spotted the thread in the Yu Play WOP forum, you can DIY 6DOF Track IR for peanuts using FREETRACK (yep...FREE!) software and a webcam! I hope for future console flight sims we can use the PS3 move controllers, curious how that would work. By the way, you are right no need to spend 100 plus dollars on something that takes an hour to build and around 15 bucks. I just dont like it much because you need your head still most of the time.

I might dislike it too, based on what you found EDAL. A cheap way of assessing one but I'm hoping that being able to set a deadzone might just make it more tolerant to my drunkan head..... I am so used to having the Analog POV on Xbox Sticks that I now find it awkward using the Digital POV fitted on PC sticks. I often wonder if the PC stick POV functions on PS3 BOP the same as it does with Xbox Sticks.

BTW....what's R.U.S.E?
